History

Origins

Major-General John George Walker was a Confederate general in the American Civil War. He served as a brigadier general under Stonewall Jackson and James Longstreet.

Before commanding the Texas Division unit in the Trans-Mississippi Department, known as Walker's Greyhounds for their speed and agility. 

He was ordered to disrupt U.S. Grant's supply-line opposite Vicksburg, Mississippi, but Grant had managed to cross to the East Bank, and Walker was reduced to minor operations.

War of Rights

Walker's Division is a collection of regiments and units that have organized in and out of game for better coordination and play of the game at a competitive level. 

Walker's Division currently is comprised of the 4th Texas Infantry Regiment (Companies A, D, F, G, H, and I), 3rd Arkansas (Companies A, B, G, and H), Hampton's Legion (Companies C & D), 6th Georgia (Companies A & G), 5th Texas Infantry Regiment (Companies B & G), Brockenborough's Artillery (Batteries A & 3), and 1st North Carolina Sharpshooters (Company B). 

Walker's Division has a unified rule system with a Charter and chain of command that inspires fair play and accountability in a non-toxic and drama-free environment.

4th TX was one of the original Texas regiments mustered in 1861 and fought through the war up until the CSA surrender at Appomattox Court House. 

We  here in the War of Rights 4th TX regiment server to honor those soldiers who fight and died so valiantly. Our regiment was formed in 2018 and consist of 6 active mustered companies. 

We are proud to be one of the few regiments in war of rights who’s Commanding Officer is elected by its members. This assures there is a level of trust that is maintained through our ranks. 

We  pride ourselves on a first in and last our mentality when fighting with our brothers in arms within I-Corps. If friend or foe we look forward to seeing you on the battlefield.

6th Georgia A company(Sydney Brown Infantry) 

A Company is run by Major Flash. We are a Line Infantry Unit that is also used for skirmishing. Being one of the older 6th Georgia Companies we have grown to a decent size throughout our time. We never back down from a good fight and we are always the first to volunteer to a task when needed.


6th Georgia B Company(Lookout Dragoons) 

B Company is run by Captain Melkor, founded in March of 2021. We are a Line Infantry regiment that is commonly deployed as skirmishers or scouts for Walker’s Division. We have been steadily increasing our numbers and we are the largest company inside 6th Georgia.


6th Georgia G Company(Butler Vanguards) 

G Company is run by LtCol. Goondawg. You can tell we are on the field when you hear “G Co the best Co”. We pride ourselves on being professional and enjoy just having fun. Like the other 6th Georgia Companies we focus on Line Infantry but will also be called upon to Skirmish. 


6th Georgia H Company(Baker Fire Eaters)

H Company is run by Captain EJ. This is the newest unit to form under 6th Georgia and Goondawg. While we are the smallest unit currently we pride ourselves in being the best with both Line Infantry and Skirmishing. We also train hard so we have some of the best sharpshooters in 6th Georgia.

1st NCS serve as the primary skirmishing unit within Walker’s Division who is commanded by MajGen. Drax.

1st NC Sharpshooters pride themselves on being rifle marksmanship experts and live by the quote “When the enemy advances, we create standoff. When the enemy halts, we harass. When the enemy breaks, we attack. When the enemy retreats, we pursue.” 

Combining the skills of expert marksmanship and the employment of skirmishing tactics is what makes the 1st North Carolina Sharpshooter’s such an effective unit on the field of battle.
